Qualifications
- Educational Qualification: M.Sc (Organic Chemistry)
- Experience:
- Trainee Research Associate: 0-1 years (Freshers may apply)
- Research Associate: 1-4 years in CRO
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, set up, monitor, and work up chemical reactions with senior chemists
- Operate lab equipment like Combiflash, Rotary Evaporators, and others
- Purify compounds via Column Chromatography, Vacuum Distillation, Crystallization
- Characterize compounds using MS and 1H NMR
- Write technical reports, analyze data, and maintain lab notebooks
- Conduct literature searches using SciFinder and other search engines
- Perform regular lab duties: equipment maintenance, chemical inventory, lab cleanup
- Set up multiple reactions daily independently
- Stay updated with scientific literature in organic chemistry
