We’re hiring for Senior Research Associate and Research Scientist positions in our CRO-R&D division (Medicinal Chemistry) at our Ahmedabad facility, a Centre of Excellence for drug discovery.

Qualifications
- M.Sc. (Organic Chemistry)
- M.Pharm (Pharmaceuticals Chemistry, Medicinal Chemistry)
- Ph.D. (Organic Chemistry, Natural Product Synthesis)
- Fresh Ph.D. or Post-Doc candidates are eligible
Experience
- 2-8 years of relevant experience in the CRO industry
- Fresh Ph.D./Post-Docs with academic training in synthetic organic chemistry
- Experience in routine synthetic organic chemistry techniques (reactions, recrystallizations, chromatography)
Key Responsibilities
- Design and execute multistep organic synthesis for drug discovery projects
- Perform literature searches using SciFinder, Reaxys, or patent databases for route scouting
- Conduct reactions, purifications, and characterizations using NMR, LC-MS, and HPLC
- Interpret analytical data (NMR, IR, Mass Spectra) for structure elucidation
- Troubleshoot synthetic challenges using in-depth chemistry knowledge
- Document experiments in lab notebooks and prepare technical reports
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (biology, DMPK) for integrated drug discovery
- Ensure GLP compliance and maintain lab safety standards
Key Skills
- Proficiency in synthetic organic chemistry techniques (reactions, recrystallizations, chromatography)
- Expertise in analytical data interpretation (NMR, LC-MS, HPLC)
- Familiarity with medicinal chemistry and CRO workflows
- Strong literature search skills using SciFinder, Reaxys, or patents
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and teamwork abilities
