Role Summary
The Lead – EHS will implement, maintain, and continuously improve EHS systems at the Matoda plant, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements, internal EHS policies, and sustainable practices. The role emphasizes Effluent Treatment Plant (ETP) and Sewage Treatment Plant (STP) operations, safety audits, and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- ETP/STP Management: Ensure compliance of ETP and STP operations, monitor environmental parameters (e.g., COD, BOD, pH), submit regulatory reports, and drive sustainability initiatives (e.g., water recycling, waste reduction).
- Safety Management: Conduct risk assessments, enforce safety controls, train staff on EHS protocols, lead incident investigations, and implement Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA).
- Regulatory Compliance: Liaise with Pollution Control Boards (PCB) and other authorities, manage EHS audits, and maintain updated permits and documentation (e.g., Form-5, Hazardous Waste Manifest).
- EHS Systems: Implement robust EHS systems, promote a safety-first culture, engage employees through awareness programs, and report Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) via dashboards and management reviews.
