Job Details
- Department: Downstream Processing (DSP)
- Positions: Downstream Process Executives & Operators (30 vacancies)
- Qualification: B.Sc / M.Sc (Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Life Sciences) / ITI / B.Pharm / M.Pharm / Diploma (Biotech, Chemical) / B.Tech (Biotech, Chemical) / Any Degree
- Experience: 2–6 Years in downstream processing for biologics or biopharmaceuticals
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain chromatography columns and systems (e.g., ÄKTA, BPG, Chromoflow) for protein purification.
- Perform column packing using BPG and Chromoflow systems, ensuring process consistency.
- Manage Tangential Flow Filtration (TFF) systems for ultrafiltration/diafiltration.
- Handle centrifuge systems for cell separation and clarification.
- Conduct filtration, filter integrity testing, buffer preparation, CIP (Clean-in-Place), and SIP (Sterilize-in-Place) operations.
- Maintain QMS (Quality Management System) documentation, ensuring GMP/cGMP compliance.
- Support process validation, deviation reporting, and CAPA implementation.
Key Skills:
- Hands-on experience with chromatography (affinity, ion-exchange), TFF, and centrifugation.
- Proficiency in CIP/SIP, filter integrity, and buffer preparation.
- Strong knowledge of GMP/cGMP, QMS, and regulatory compliance (USFDA, WHO).
- Detail-oriented with excellent documentation and process awareness.
