Department-Specific Roles and Skills

Microbiology (Ophthalmic Exposure)

• Qualification: B.Sc./M.Sc. in Microbiology or Biotechnology
• Experience: 2-6 years in ophthalmic formulations
• Key Skills:
  • Handling particulate method tests (Microscopic & LBPC methods)
  • Bacterial Endotoxin Test (BET) and method validation
  • Experience with LIMS and QAMS documents (CCP, CCT, Deviations, CAPA)
  • New equipment qualification, calibration, and validation
  • Microbiology laboratory OOS handling
  • Culture identification using Vitek 2 Compact

Quality Assurance (Formulation OSD)

• Qualification: B.Pharm
• Experience: 2-6 years in Oral Solid Dosage (OSD)
• Key Skills:
  • Certifying area/line clearance for manufacturing activities
  • Batch-to-batch audit trail review and process validation
  • IPQA activities in manufacturing and packaging
  • Sampling for validation and hold time studies per BMR
  • Calibration of IPQA instruments and BMR review
  • Investigating deviations

Quality Control (Nasal & Derma)

• Qualification: B.Pharm/M.Sc.
• Experience: 2-6 years in nasal and derma formulations
• Key Skills:
  • Knowledge of HPLC, GC, and routine QC instruments
  • Expertise in pharmaceutical quality systems (QAMS)
  • Analysis of nasal and derma formulations (in-process, finished products, stability samples)
  • Understanding of Data Integrity, GMP, and 21 CFR laboratory software
  • Preferred: USFDA/MHRA regulatory exposure
