Job Opportunity: Research Associate – Chemistry
We are hiring Research Associates in the Chemistry department with 1–3 years of experience in the Contract Research Organization (CRO) industry. Candidates from CROs only are eligible, with a focus on organic chemistry expertise.
Research Associate – Chemistry
- Qualification: M.Sc (Organic Chemistry)
- Experience: 1–3 years in CRO industry (API or drug discovery)
- Department: Chemistry
- Work Location: Bengaluru, Karnataka
- Responsibilities:
- Set up and execute reactions to synthesize target molecules/compounds per client specifications
- Optimize synthetic routes and techniques for efficiency
- Ensure safety through adherence to good laboratory practices (GLP)
- Maintain records, ensuring data integrity and IP confidentiality
- Required Skills:
- Hands-on experience in organic synthesis and reaction setup
- Proficiency in purification techniques (e.g., column chromatography)
- Familiarity with NMR, HPLC, and mass spectrometry for compound characterization
- Strong understanding of GLP, GMP, and IP specifications
