Job Opportunity: Research Associate – Chemistry

We are hiring Research Associates in the Chemistry department with 1–3 years of experience in the Contract Research Organization (CRO) industry. Candidates from CROs only are eligible, with a focus on organic chemistry expertise.

Research Associate – Chemistry

  • Qualification: M.Sc (Organic Chemistry)
  • Experience: 1–3 years in CRO industry (API or drug discovery)
  • Department: Chemistry
  • Work Location: Bengaluru, Karnataka
  • Responsibilities:
    • Set up and execute reactions to synthesize target molecules/compounds per client specifications
    • Optimize synthetic routes and techniques for efficiency
    • Ensure safety through adherence to good laboratory practices (GLP)
    • Maintain records, ensuring data integrity and IP confidentiality
  • Required Skills:
    • Hands-on experience in organic synthesis and reaction setup
    • Proficiency in purification techniques (e.g., column chromatography)
    • Familiarity with NMR, HPLC, and mass spectrometry for compound characterization
    • Strong understanding of GLP, GMP, and IP specifications
