Key Responsibilities
As an Assistant Manager – Accounts Receivable, you’ll manage critical financial processes and support business operations. Your duties include:
- Handle debtors’ credit note workings and maintain accurate accounting documentation.
- Calculate schemes and discounts to support sales strategies.
- Address sales team and customer queries promptly and professionally.
- Prepare MIS reports for sales, ageing, and collection performance.
- Provide support to the business team for financial decision-making.
- Ensure receivable balance confirmations with clients.
- Assist with internal and statutory audits for compliance.
- Manage GST workings and returns filing accurately.
- Utilize Tally Accounting Software for financial transactions.
- Leverage advanced Excel skills for data analysis and reporting.
Eligibility Criteria
To excel in this role, candidates should meet the following requirements:
- Qualification: B.Com, M.Com, or MBA (Finance) from a recognized institution.
- Experience: 4–6 years in accounts receivable or similar finance roles.
Desired Skills:
- Expertise in debtors’ management and credit note processing.
- Proficiency in scheme and discount calculations.
- Strong query resolution skills for sales teams and customers.
- Experience in preparing MIS reports for sales and collections.
- Knowledge of GST compliance and returns filing.
- Hands-on experience with Tally Accounting Software.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Ability to support audits (internal and statutory).
- Strong communication and team collaboration skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
