Job Summary
The Associate Analyst – Quality Analytics will develop Power BI dashboards and generate actionable insights from quality data to support Novartis’ Quality Management System. This role involves collaborating with quality stakeholders, creating solution blueprints, partnering with IT for implementation, and ensuring compliance with GxP guidelines.
Success will be measured by timely delivery of analytics solutions, stakeholder satisfaction, and the quality of documentation and training materials.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop Power BI dashboards to provide actionable insights from quality data.
- Collaborate with quality stakeholders to understand business needs and create solution blueprints or Proofs of Concept (POCs).
- Partner with IT to provide technical requirements and enable industrialized analytics solutions.
- Test analytics solutions, develop training content, and educate business users on new tools.
- Track solution adoption, gather feedback, and coordinate enhancements with IT.
- Manage user access and ensure adherence to GxP guidelines.
- Maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and GxP-compliant documentation within the Novartis Quality Management System.
- Ensure the integrity of Quality Systems records and data, collaborating across functions.
Key Performance Indicators
- Timely delivery and adoption of Power BI dashboards and analytics solutions.
- High stakeholder satisfaction and positive user feedback.
- Quality and effectiveness of solution documentation and training materials.
Minimum Requirements
Work Experience:
- 0–4 years in business intelligence, analytics, or data science.
- Experience in Quality Control (QC) or Quality Assurance (QA) in the pharmaceutical or biotech industry, including environmental monitoring.
- Proven ability to collaborate across boundaries and functions.
Skills:
- Expertise in SQL, Power BI, QlikSense, Python, and Cloud Technologies.
- Knowledge of Large Language Models (LLMs) and Generative AI (GenAI) tools.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to deal with ambiguity.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Data Science, or Business Administration.
- Advanced degree preferred.
Languages:
- Fluent in spoken and written English (mandatory).
- Additional languages are a plus.
