Job Role: Apprentice (Quality Control)

This apprenticeship role in the QC department involves supporting analytical testing for API production under cGMP standards. Below are the details:

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry or a closely related field
• Experience: 0-1 years in a cGMP laboratory setting

Required Skills:

• Familiarity with cGMP and FDA requirements
• Basic understanding of analytical testing techniques (e.g., GC, UV/Vis, IR, Karl Fischer)
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to data integrity
• Ability to work in a team-oriented, regulated environment

Preferred Skills:

• Knowledge of laboratory equipment calibration
• Exposure to ICH guidelines and stability studies

Key Responsibilities

• Perform analytical testing and release of in-process materials, bulk drug substances, finished drug products, and stability samples.
• Conduct sampling, inspection, and testing of raw materials, packaging components, and bulk API drums.
• Execute calibration and minor troubleshooting of laboratory equipment, including GC, UV/Vis, IR, Potentiometer, Refractometer, Karl Fischer, Density Meter, and ICP/MS (with training).
• Maintain accurate records per cGMP and FDA standards, ensuring compliance and data integrity.
• Support QC lab operations under the guidance of the QC Lab Supervisor.
