Position: Research Scientist / Executive – F&D (Injectable / Sterile / Parenteral)

Department: Formulation & Development
Location: Sachana, Viramgam, Ahmedabad (Gujarat)
Qualification: M.Pharm (Pharmaceutical Sciences or Pharmaceutics)
Experience Required: 3–7 Years in Sterile Injectable Formulation Development

Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize sterile formulations for new and existing injectable pharmaceutical products in compliance with regulatory expectations of USFDA, EMA, Health Canada, ANVISA, and ROW markets.
• Perform literature search, pre-formulation studies, and API-excipient compatibility assessments to build stable, compliant drug formulations.
• Lead scale-up, pilot batch execution, and technology transfer from R&D to manufacturing plants while maintaining GMP standards.
• Conduct stability studies as per ICH guidelines and analyze results to ensure product quality and shelf-life expectations are met.
• Work cross-functionally with RA, QA, QC, and production teams to ensure timely product development and regulatory filing readiness.

Required Skills & Expertise

• In-depth knowledge of injectable drug development lifecycle, from concept to submission
• Hands-on experience with aseptic processing, lyophilized products, and terminal sterilization technologies
• Expertise in designing robust parenteral drug delivery systems such as vials, ampoules, and prefilled syringes
• Understanding of regulatory documentation, dossier preparation, and support during inspections and queries
• Strong analytical thinking to troubleshoot formulation or process issues during development and manufacturing
• Familiarity with QbD (Quality by Design) principles, DoE, and ICH Q8-Q10 compliance practices

Who Can Apply?

Only M.Pharm graduates with 3 to 7 years of relevant experience in formulation development of sterile/injectable dosage forms should apply. Prior experience working on regulatory markets (US/EU/Canada/Brazil) will be considered a strong advantage.
