Job Overview: Study Nurse Role
This full-time position is ideal for candidates with 0–2 years of experience and a valid Nursing Council registration. You’ll work in a fast-paced clinical research environment, ensuring adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and study protocols. The role involves hands-on tasks like vital sign monitoring, sample collection, and ward management.
Key Responsibilities
As a Study Nurse, you’ll handle critical tasks to support clinical studies. Your responsibilities will include:
- Monitoring vital signs per SOPs and filling out Case Report Forms (CRFs).
- Assisting in adverse event management and reporting.
- Performing IV cannulations and collecting blood samples during studies.
- Maintaining emergency medicine stocks and updating relevant logs.
- Ensuring proper labeling of vacutainers and cryo vials.
- Managing BA/BE and ICU wards, including instrument maintenance.
- Recording ward temperature and humidity.
- Overseeing bio-waste disposal as per SOPs.
- Supporting volunteer registration and BMI checks during screening.
- Administering investigational products and compiling study reports.
