Role Overview
As a Clinical Data Analyst I/II, you’ll work under expert guidance to perform clinical data cleaning, processing, and documentation tasks. All activities align with Parexel’s SOPs, ICH-GCP guidelines, and global regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities
Data Validation & Cleaning
- Conduct or lead data cleaning, including query management and SAS/manual listing reviews.
- Support or manage data processing from database setup to lock, including vendor data reconciliation.
Data Management Documentation
- Assist in creating Trial Master File documents like Data Validation Specifications and CRF Completion Guidelines.
- Ensure compliance with SOPs and ICH-GCP standards.
Study Start-Up & UAT
- Perform or lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for clinical database setups.
- Review protocols and EDC entry screens as required.
Data Tracking & Entry
- Track and review Case Report Forms (CRFs).
- Support data entry tasks when needed.
Quality & Compliance
- Adhere to SOPs, ICH-GCP, and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct or lead QC activities on databases and patient data.
Training
- Maintain training compliance, including On-the-Job training.
- Pursue development goals to enhance expertise.
Required Skills
- Strong problem-solving and logical reasoning abilities.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and accuracy.
- Effective time management and prioritization skills.
- Collaborative team player with excellent communication skills.
- Adaptable to new technologies and assignments.
- Fluent in written and oral English.
Knowledge & Experience
- Basic knowledge of data management processes and validation flows.
- Familiarity with systems like InForm, Rave, or Veeva.
- Understanding of medical terminology and coding dictionaries (e.g., MedDRA, WHODRUG).
- Awareness of ICH-GCP guidelines and Parexel SOPs.
- Clinical research experience is a plus.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree or medical qualifications.
- Relevant industry experience preferred.
