Job Role: Specialist, Medical Affairs (Regional Medical Advisor – RMA)

  • Job Type: Full-time

Responsibilities:

  • Develop expertise in MSD’s cardiovascular products, staying updated on medical advancements and guidelines.
  • Engage with Scientific Leaders, Key Decision Makers, and healthcare professionals, providing scientific support to Key Opinion Leaders.
  • Collaborate on medical strategy, deliver training to sales/marketing teams, and participate in conferences and advisory boards.
  • Communicate clinical trial data and real-world evidence to stakeholders, ensuring regulatory compliance.
  • Support local studies, clinical trial design, and cross-functional teams (Clinical Development, Regulatory Affairs, Marketing).
  • Address medical inquiries, train sales teams, and lead medical projects while adhering to GCP and local regulations.
  • Required Skills: Advisory Board Development, Clinical Development, Clinical Knowledge, Clinical Testing, GCP, Healthcare Education, Medical Affairs, Medical Communications, Medical Writing, Pharmacovigilance, Regulatory Compliance.
  • Preferred Skills: Strong presentation skills, cardiovascular therapy experience, ICH guideline familiarity.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Education: MD, Ph.D., or equivalent in life sciences (e.g., Pharmacy, Biomedical Sciences); postgraduate clinical training preferred.
  • Experience: At least 1 year in pharmaceuticals, ideally in cardiovascular therapy within clinical research or medical affairs.
  • Skills:
    • Knowledge of clinical trial design, data analysis, and cardiovascular disease states.
    • Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building abilities.
    • Analytical skills for interpreting complex scientific data.
    • Familiarity with GCP, ICH, and CDSCO regulations.
  • Adaptability: Ability to work dynamically and travel frequently in the North Region.
  • Availability: Immediate joiners preferred.
