Role Overview: Market Development Manager
As a Market Development Manager, you will play a pivotal role in expanding our market presence and driving sales for our polymer retail products. This role requires strategic thinking, strong interpersonal skills, and a proactive approach to market development.
You will focus on building brand awareness, fostering customer relationships, and ensuring successful product trials to drive conversions.
Key Responsibilities
The Market Development Manager will spearhead initiatives to strengthen our brand and sales in the polymers retail sector. Key duties include:
- Brand Awareness: Develop strategies to enhance visibility for LAPOX, Polygrip, and LACARE in target markets.
- Tertiary Sales: Collaborate with sales teams to boost tertiary sales through effective market engagement.
- Product Trials and Sampling: Ensure successful product trials and sampling to drive customer conversions.
- User Connects: Organize and lead contractor meets, group activities, and user engagement events.
- End-User Database: Build and maintain a comprehensive database of end users, fostering ongoing relationships.
- New Product Launches: Assist in planning and executing launches for new polymer products.
Qualifications and Experience
We are looking for candidates with the following credentials:
- Education: Any graduate degree (e.g., B.Com, B.Sc., B.Tech, or equivalent).
- Experience: Minimum of 6+ years of experience, including at least 1-2 years in market development, preferably in polymers, adhesives, or retail sectors.
- Locations: Ahmedabad, Jaipur, Ludhiana, or Mumbai (candidates must be based in one of these cities).
