Job Title: Team Lead – Computational Chemistry
Location: Bengaluru
Experience Required: 5–10 Years
Department: Computational Chemistry
Qualification: Ph.D. degree in Computational Chemistry or a related area
Key Responsibilities
Computational Chemistry Expertise
- Proficient in computational chemistry methodologies such as:
- Structure-based and ligand-based approaches
- Virtual screening using commercial & open-source software
Research & Development
- Experience in molecular dynamics (MD), free energy perturbation (FEP), and the development and deployment of AI/ML protocols.
Collaboration & Support
- Collaborate with clients, colleagues in medicinal chemistry, and other teams to provide scientific knowledge.
- Support preclinical drug discovery through molecular modeling.
Project Communication
- Responsible for updating clients on computational chemistry project progress.
Leadership
- Lead and mentor associates in computational chemistry to deliver accurate modeling results.
