Role: Manager – Stores/Warehouse (API Industry)

Job Location: Hikal Limited, Unit 1, 82/A, KIADB Industrial Area, Anekal Taluk, Jigani, Bangalore

Key Responsibilities:

As the Stores/Warehouse Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our warehouse operations. Your duties will include:

• Inter-Departmental Coordination: Liaise effectively with Quality Control (QC), Manufacturing, and Quality Assurance (QA) departments to ensure timely material testing, issuance, and release as per production plans.
• Workforce and Operations Management: Plan and review workforce availability for all warehouse activities, including material receipts, movements, sampling, labeling, relocation, and dispensing.
• Documentation and Compliance: Review and ensure the accuracy of online documentation from all areas, maintaining strict adherence to company and regulatory standards.
• Inventory Management: Initiate and manage the write-off process for rejected, non-moving, slow-moving, and expired materials, obtaining proper management and customs approvals for disposal according to SOPs.
• Quality Management Systems: Review and approve critical quality documents such as Change Controls, Deviations, Investigations, and CAPAs.
• Audit and Regulatory Compliance: Prepare for and respond to regulatory audits from agencies like USFDA, PMDA, ANVISA, as well as ISO/FSSC and internal compliance audits.

Required Qualifications and Experience:

We are seeking a candidate who meets the following criteria:

• Education: MSc or MBA.
• Experience: 15 to 20 years of relevant experience in a stores and warehouse management role, exclusively within the API (Active Pharmaceutical Ingredient) industry.
• Skills: Strong leadership capabilities, in-depth knowledge of regulatory requirements, and expertise in managing complex warehouse logistics in a pharmaceutical environment.
