Role Overview
The PV Associate/Senior PV Associate will be part of the Drug Safety team, responsible for reviewing and processing safety events—including pre-marketing, post-marketing, and medical device-related safety information. The role involves managing Individual Case Safety Reports (ICSRs), performing follow-ups, and contributing to safety management plans and risk assessments.
Key Responsibilities
- Review pre- and post-marketing safety events and medically related information.
- Extract safety data from literature sources and generate accurate data listings.
- Conduct adverse event follow-up via writing or telephone, as per client requirements.
- Assist in safety database management, performing quality reviews and maintaining project documentation.
- Support periodic safety reports such as Risk Management Plans (RMP), Periodic Benefit-Risk Evaluation Reports (PBRER), and Development Safety Update Reports (DSUR).
- Liaise with clinical investigators, sponsors, medical monitors, and other stakeholders on safety-related matters.
- Participate in audits, inspections, and client meetings to present safety process details.
- Contribute to signal detection, risk management, and compliance activities.
Candidate Profile
- Bachelor’s degree in life sciences, pharmacy, or related field (advanced degree preferred).
- Experience in pharmacovigilance, drug safety, or clinical pharmaceutical environments.
- Strong analytical skills with excellent attention to detail in data handling.
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and clients.
