Job Description
Cipla is conducting a walk-in interview for multiple roles at its Unit I in Kumrek, Sikkim. These positions span sterile/nasal/aerosol manufacturing, OSD production, packing, and EHS. Candidates gain exposure to advanced pharma processes in a GMP-compliant facility. Preference given to Sikkim residents.
Officer – Sterile/Nasal/Aerosol
- Key Requirements: Sound knowledge of BFS machine operation, aseptic area maintenance, media fill, batch manufacturing, CIP, SIP, and Autoclave.
- Qualification: B.Pharm / M.Pharm
- Experience: 0.6 to 6 years
Operator – Sterile/Nasal/Aerosol
- Key Requirements: Operation and cleaning of nasal spray filling & sealing machines, vial washing machine and tunnel, manufacturing & holding vessels, FFS, with strong aseptic behaviour & practices.
- Qualification: Diploma (Mechanical/Electrical/Other)
- Experience: 0.6 to 6 years
OSD Operator
- Key Requirements: Exposure in hard gelatin capsules, soft gelatin capsules, tablet manufacturing, and packing in OSD operations.
- Qualification: Diploma (Mechanical/Electrical/Other)
- Experience: 0.6 to 6 years
Packing Officer
- Key Requirements: Experience in different packing lines for OSD and sterile manufacturing.
- Qualification: B.Pharm
- Experience: 0.6 to 6 years
Packing Operator
- Key Requirements: Sound knowledge of BQS, Cartonator, EPI2500, FB300 machine operations.
- Qualification: Diploma (Mechanical/Electrical/Other)
- Experience: 0.6 to 6 years
EHS Officer
- Key Requirements: Experience in environment, health & safety (preferably pharma), including work permits, chemical handling, emergency management, EHS systems, and process safety.
- Qualification: B.Tech / MSc
- Experience: 5 to 14 years
Skills/Qualifications
- Expertise in aseptic operations, BFS/FFS machines, CIP/SIP, and autoclaves.
- Hands-on experience in nasal/aerosol filling, vial washing, OSD capsule/tablet production.
- Proficiency in packing machines (BQS, Cartonator, EPI2500, FB300).
- Knowledge of GMP, safety protocols, and EHS management systems.
- Strong aseptic practices and process safety awareness.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain sterile manufacturing equipment (BFS, filling lines, autoclaves).
- Perform cleaning, CIP/SIP, and aseptic processes in nasal/aerosol areas.
- Handle OSD production for capsules and tablets.
- Manage packing lines for OSD and sterile products.
- Oversee EHS compliance, work permits, and emergency response.
