Job Description
This position is in the API-Analytical department at Lupin’s Pune R&D center. The role involves routine and specialized NMR analysis to support API development, impurity characterization, and polymorphism studies.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine NMR analysis of samples (1H NMR, 13C NMR & other nuclei)
- Conduct NMR analysis for working standards, impurity standards, and intermediates
- Carry out characterization and assignment of working standards and impurity standards
- Provide structural confirmation of unknown impurities using NMR techniques
- Execute solid-state NMR analysis for routine testing and polymorphism studies
- Handle maintenance and calibration of NMR instruments, balance, pH meter, and related equipment
- Manage documentation related to assigned analytical work
Skills & Qualifications Required
- 1-2 years of practical experience in operating and troubleshooting NMR instruments
- Strong knowledge of NMR spectral assignment and interpretation
- Basic proficiency in MS Office for data handling and reporting
- Fundamental understanding of different types of chemicals and their handling
