Job Description
Syneos Health is seeking a Clinical Trial Manager II to join its Clinical Development Services team. This critical role provides functional leadership for site management, clinical monitoring, and central monitoring activities. The position ensures successful delivery of clinical trials with focus on patient safety, data integrity, and regulatory compliance.
Position Title: Clinical Trial Manager II

Skills/Qualifications
- Demonstrated expertise in site management and clinical/central monitoring
- Strong knowledge of ICH-GCP, regulatory requirements, and risk-based monitoring
- Excellent leadership and team management capabilities
- Proven problem-solving and risk management skills
- Good computer skills and proficiency in CTMS, EDC, and clinical systems
- Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in international and cross-functional environments
- Conflict resolution and critical thinking abilities
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee site management and clinical monitoring activities
- Ensure patient safety and protocol compliance
- Identify and mitigate clinical trial risks
- Review study scope, budget, and deliverables
- Manage CRAs and Central Monitors performance
- Develop and maintain Clinical Monitoring Plan
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams
- Review monitoring reports and documentation
- Provide status updates to clients and leadership
- Support inspection readiness activities
