Key Responsibilities
As a Research Scientist, your duties will include:
- Complex Organic Transformations: Perform advanced organic chemistry techniques and transformations independently.
- Literature Review: Propose and select literature procedures for transformations based on project needs.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate laboratory notebooks, recording reaction schemes, stoichiometry, results, and observations according to SOP.
- Scale-Up Reactions: Efficiently scale up reactions from milligrams to gram quantities, ensuring consistency and accuracy.
- Reporting: Prepare and update project reports, tracking sheets, and productivity sheets as per project requirements.
- Scientific Contributions: Contribute to writing patents, scientific publications, and internal reports based on experimental results.
- Compliance: Conduct all activities in strict adherence to health, safety, environmental, and waste disposal regulations.
- Training: Mentor and train Research Associates (RA) in chemistry techniques, EHS, and QA practices.
- Client Liaison: Interact with clients to understand their project requirements and ensure timely delivery aligned with client expectations.
Qualifications
