As a key member of the local Finance Team, the objective of this role is to primarily support the team from a local compliance perspective while actively participating in monthly financial reporting and assisting with the monitoring and challenging of internal controls.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Preparation of Monthly Management Accounts
- Compile Malta VAT Returns and VAT Recapitulative Statements
- Compile VAT reports for external tax consultants to submit VAT Returns for foreign VAT registrations
- Ensuring secretarial compliance with MBR (including BO Declarations, Annual Returns, etc.)
- Compliance with Transfer Pricing regulations
- Compile surveys and other documents required by the NSO
- Liaise with banks (local and foreign) on KYC exercises
- Assist with compilation of other statutory applications and documents (e.g., government grants)
- Assist with cash flow monitoring and forecasting
- Assist with Finance Audits
