Primary Responsibilities
As a Research Chemist – Analytical, you will play a key role in supporting our compound development efforts and ensuring the highest standards of analytical excellence. Your responsibilities will include:
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams on compound development projects as needed.
- Leading all analytical method development activities, including:
- Compound characterization and certification for toxicological and non-clinical use.
- Conducting stability studies to support product development.
- Safeguarding and maintaining intellectual property, such as research schemes, journals, analytical data, and material/product safety data sheets.
- Utilizing advanced technical skills in:
- Analytical High-Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC) for complex molecules, including chemical diversity and chiral separations.
- Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (NMR), mass spectrometry, and preparative liquid chromatography.
- Preparing and reviewing high-quality scientific reports and documentation.
Qualifications and Experience
Educational Requirements
- M.Sc. in Organic Chemistry, Physical Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, or a related field.
Experience
- 2-5 years of relevant, hands-on industrial experience in synthetic or analytical chemistry.
Skills Required
To succeed in this role, candidates should possess the following skills:
- Proficiency with modern data acquisition systems and software.
- Strong technical expertise in analytical techniques (HPLC, NMR, mass spectrometry, etc.).
- Excellent oral and written communication skills for effective collaboration and documentation.
