1. Research Associate (Microbiology Department)
Role
Support microbiological testing for pharmaceuticals, medical devices, and AYUSH products in a GLP-compliant environment.
Job Specifications
- Conduct microbiological testing such as BET (Bacterial Endotoxin Test), sterility testing, bioburden, bioassays (antibiotics/vitamins), and PET (Preservative Efficacy Test).
- Perform cell-line and biotechnology-based in-vitro testing (e.g., cytotoxicity, genotoxicity).
- Ensure compliance with cGMP, GLP, and SOPs while maintaining data integrity.
Qualifications
Education
M.Sc. in Microbiology from a recognized university.
Experience
3–5 years in microbiological testing within the pharmaceutical or CRO sector, with exposure to GLP environments.
Skills
- Hands-on experience with sterility testing, BET, and bioburden analysis.
- Familiarity with in-vitro assays like cytotoxicity and genotoxicity.
- Strong documentation skills for maintaining GLP-compliant records.

- Perform particle size determination using techniques like Microscopy, Zetasizer, and Mastersizer.
- Utilize advanced methods such as Electron Microscopy (EM), Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM), and Transmission Electron Microscopy (TEM) for detailed analysis.
- Support method development, validation, and quality control activities per regulatory guidelines.
Qualifications
Education
M.Sc. in Organic Chemistry or Analytical Chemistry from a recognized university.
Experience
4–5 years in analytical development and quality control, with specific expertise in particle size analysis and advanced microscopy techniques.
Skills
- Proficiency in Zetasizer, Mastersizer, and microscopy techniques (EM, SEM, TEM).
- Experience in analytical method development and validation per ICH and USFDA guidelines.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail in maintaining data integrity.
