Job Description for Quality Control, Production, and QA Jobs
Qualifications
- Quality Control: M.Sc. (Chemistry or Microbiology), B.Pharm, or B.Tech (Biotechnology) from a recognized institution.
- Production: B.Sc, M.Sc, or B.Pharm with a focus on pharmaceutical sciences.
- Quality Assurance: M.Sc, B.Pharm, or M.Pharm with relevant academic background.
- Mandatory Requirement: Experience in pharma formulation (OSD, injectable, or liquid injection) for non-fresher roles.
Experience
- Quality Control: 0–3 years in pharma formulation with expertise in raw material (RM), finished goods (FG), stability, or analytical method validation (AMV/AMD).
- Production: 2–6 years in manufacturing or packing of liquid injections, oral solid dosage (OSD), or ointments.
- Quality Assurance: 0–5 years in IPQA, QMS, validation, or related activities in OSD or injectable manufacturing.
- Fresh graduates are eligible for Quality Assurance roles.
Skills
Quality Control:
- Proficiency in HPLC, UPLC, GC, UV-Vis Spectrophotometer, FTIR, and microbiology testing.
- Sound knowledge of Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
- Familiarity with software like LIMS, SAP, and Ample Logic for analytical operations.
- Expertise in stability studies, analytical method transfer, and microbiological testing.
Production:
- Hands-on experience in manufacturing and packing processes for liquid injections, OSD, or ointments.
- Ability to operate production equipment and ensure compliance with GMP standards.
- Strong problem-solving skills for process optimization.
Quality Assurance:
- Knowledge of In-Process Quality Assurance (IPQA), Change Control, CAPA, Deviation, and QMS activities.
- Expertise in qualification and validation processes for OSD or injectable manufacturing.
- Strong documentation and analytical skills for regulatory compliance.
Responsibilities
Quality Control:
- Conduct testing of raw materials, finished goods, and stability samples using HPLC, GC, UPLC, UV-Vis, and FTIR.
- Perform microbiological testing and ensure compliance with GLP and GMP guidelines.
- Support analytical method validation (AMV), method transfer, and data management using LIMS and SAP.
Production:
- Execute manufacturing and packing operations for liquid injections, OSD, or ointments.
- Ensure adherence to SOPs and GMP standards during production processes.
- Troubleshoot operational issues and maintain equipment for efficiency.
Quality Assurance:
- Perform IPQA checks and monitor QMS activities like CAPA, deviation, and change control.
- Conduct validation and qualification activities for manufacturing processes.
- Maintain accurate documentation to ensure regulatory compliance.
