Job Description for Pharmaceutical Roles
Qualifications
- Production & Packing: ITI, Diploma, B.Sc, B.Pharm, M.Sc, M.Pharm, or B.E in relevant fields.
- Quality Control: B.Pharm, M.Sc, or M.Pharm from a recognized institution.
- Mandatory Requirement: Hands-on experience in sterile manufacturing, parenteral processes, or aseptic techniques for all roles.
Experience
- 2–7 years in injectable manufacturing or quality control jobs within a regulated pharmaceutical environment.
- Exposure to USFDA-regulated facilities is highly desirable.
Skills
Production & Packing:
- Proficiency in aseptic manufacturing, including filling, sealing, filtration, batch manufacturing, autoclave, terminal sterilization, packing, and visual inspection.
- Experience with production lines: Ophthalmic, Vial, PFS (Pre-Filled Syringes), LYO (Lyophilized), Cartridges, and Bag.
- Expertise in operating machines like Groninger/Optima filling machines, Dyno Truking filling/sealing machines, Bosch filling machines, and Fedegree steam sterilizers.
Quality Control:
- Strong knowledge of Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) and operation/calibration of analytical instruments, including HPLC (Waters, Shimadzu), GC (Agilent), UV, FTIR, K/F, AAS, IC, and Dissolution (Sotax).
- Skills in analyzing raw materials (RM), excipients, in-process (IP), and finished products (FP).
- Excellent documentation and analytical abilities.
Responsibilities
Production & Packing:
- Execute sterile manufacturing processes, including filling, sealing, filtration, and batch production.
- Operate and maintain equipment for autoclave, terminal sterilization, packing, and visual inspection.
- Ensure compliance with Quality Management Systems (QMS) and regulatory standards.
- Support production across various lines (Ophthalmic, Vial, PFS, LYO, Cartridges, Bag).
Quality Control:
- Perform analysis of raw materials, excipients, in-process, and finished products using advanced analytical instruments.
- Calibrate and operate HPLC, GC, UV, FTIR, K/F, AAS, IC, and Dissolution systems.
- Maintain accurate documentation and ensure adherence to GLP and regulatory requirements.
- Support quality investigations and assurance activities.
