Job Description
Appasamy Associates seeks an experienced Pharmacovigilance Specialist to strengthen its safety and compliance functions. This role focuses on post-market surveillance for medical devices and pharmaceutical products.

PV Specialist (Pharmacovigilance)
- Experience: 1 to 6 years
- Education/Qualification: Bachelor’s/Master’s in Pharmacy
Skills/Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Pharmacy
- 1-6 years of experience in pharmacovigilance
- Strong knowledge of global PV and medical device vigilance regulations (CDSCO, US FDA, EU)
- Expertise in adverse event reporting, signal detection, and risk management
- Familiarity with ICSRs, PSURs, DSURs, MDV reports, and CAPA processes
- Excellent analytical, documentation, and communication skills
- Ability to collaborate cross-functionally and support audits
Key Responsibilities
- Collect and assess adverse events for medical devices
- Investigate product malfunctions and user complaints
- Submit MDV reports to authorities timely
- Monitor and report ADRs from various sources
- Prepare ICSRs, PSURs, and DSURs
- Conduct signal detection and risk-benefit analysis
- Maintain vigilance documentation and SOPs
- Support CAPA, recalls, and product improvements
