- Master’s or PhD in Chemistry or M.Pharmacy
- PMP or equivalent certification required for senior positions (Manager, Senior Manager)
Experience
- 2-12 years in project management
- Relevant experience in CRO or product companies
Skills Required
- Experience managing discovery projects, particularly in synthetic chemistry or new drug discovery
- Strong communication and client engagement skills
Roles and Responsibilities
- Plan projects from initiation to closure, including resource management
- Track project progress and provide periodic updates to stakeholders
- Manage project budgets and report periodically
- Oversee the entire project lifecycle, identifying issues and risks
- Manage project data using predefined templates and project management tools
- Attend project teleconferences, manage action items, invoices, and deliverables
- Collaborate cross-functionally with other departments
