Job Opportunity: GCMS Analyst (Analytical Solutions)
We are hiring Research Associates / Senior Research Associates with expertise in Gas Chromatography-Mass Spectrometry (GCMS) for our Mallapur facility in Hyderabad. Only candidates with formulations experience and immediate availability will be considered.
Research Associate / Senior Research Associate (GCMS)
- Qualification: M.Sc (Chemistry / Analytical Chemistry) / M.Pharmacy
- Experience: 3-8 years in GCMS analysis within pharmaceutical formulations
- Department: Analytical Solutions
- Work Location: Hyderabad, Telangana
Responsibilities:
- Conduct analytical testing using GCMS to identify and quantify organic compounds
- Prepare samples and interpret GCMS results for formulation development
- Maintain and troubleshoot GCMS instruments, ensuring optimal performance
- Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and compliance with SOPs and quality control practices
- Adhere to laboratory safety protocols and regulatory standards (e.g., USFDA, ICH)
- Document results and support method development/validation
Required Skills:
- Proficiency in GCMS techniques (Agilent, Thermo, or Shimadzu systems preferred)
- Expertise in sample preparation (e.g., SPE, LLE) and data interpretation
- Knowledge of GMP, GLP, and quality control in formulations
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Familiarity with software like ChemStation or MassHunter
