Job Details

• Role: Assistant/Joint Manager – Business Development and Sales
• Segment: Pharmaceuticals & API Intermediates
• Location: Thane, Mumbai, Maharashtra, India
• Qualification: B.Sc / M.Sc in Chemistry or B.E / B.Tech in Chemical Engineering
• Experience: 5–10 years in sales, business development, and CMO/CDMO operations (API intermediates)

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities to drive sales growth in pharmaceuticals and API intermediates.
• Oversee contract manufacturing operations (CMO/CDMO), ensuring seamless execution and client satisfaction.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including R&D, production, and quality assurance, to align with business goals.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders in the pharmaceutical industry.
• Drive strategic initiatives to expand market presence and achieve sales targets.

Key Requirements

• Proven experience in sales and business development within the API intermediates or pharmaceutical industry.
• Strong understanding of CMO/CDMO operations and regulatory requirements (e.g., USFDA, EDQM).
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of market trends and competitive landscape in the pharmaceutical sector.
