Desired Profile:
- Qualification: M.Sc. (General/Organic) Chemistry or M.Pharm Pharmaceutical Chemistry, along with a Diploma in Patent Law.
- Experience: 2 – 6 years of relevant experience in Intellectual Property Management (IPM).
Location:
- Bangalore
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Conduct prior-art search and patentability evaluation for New Chemical Entities (NCEs) using Scifinder/STN and other databases.
- Draft, file, and prosecute patents in India, PCT, and abroad.
- Perform patent or technology landscape analysis and generate reports.
- Maintain and audit lab records.
- Maintain patent docket, track deadlines, and ensure timely filing.
- Prepare patent applications for small molecules and medicinal chemistry, providing advice on patentability, freedom to operate, infringement, and validity matters.
