Key Responsibilities
- Prepare annual budgets for key business functions (e.g., R&D, clinical).
- Analyze expenses, explain budget variances, and prepare MIS reports.
- Compute and pay income tax (advance, self-assessment) and maintain documentation per Income Tax Act.
- Structure transactions for GST optimization and maintain compliant records.
- File GST forms (input credit, output) and reconcile credits monthly.
- Handle assessment notices and prepare submission documents for tax departments.
- Ensure timely GST payments under normal and reverse charge mechanisms.
- Ensure compliance with statutory norms and file related forms.
- Evaluate transactions for GST applicability and optimization.
- Support monthly books closure, including provisions for key functions.
- Review and process vendor invoices with SCM and legal teams.
- Collaborate with clinical, SCM, and legal stakeholders for financial alignment.
