Key Responsibilities
1. Revenue Management & Invoicing
- Analyze customer agreements to ensure accurate invoicing and revenue recognition.
- Generate invoices as per contractual agreements.
- Ensure pass-through costs are billed correctly to customers.
- Conduct aging analysis of receivables and coordinate follow-ups on outstanding payments.
2. Monthly Book Closure
- Ensure timely posting of all financial transactions, accruals, and provisions before period-end closing.
- Reconcile Sales and Distribution (SD) vs Financial Accounting (FI) records.
- Analyze operating expenses, including budget comparisons, trends, and exceptional expenditures.
3. Capital Expenditure (Capex) Management
- Prepare and present business cases for new Capex proposals.
- Secure necessary approvals as per the Delegation of Authority (DoA).
- Monitor and report on the Capex Budget Approved, Spend, and Latest Estimates.
4. Financial Reporting
- Assist in financial statement preparation and management reports.
- Ensure compliance with accounting policies and local regulations.
5. Taxation & Compliance
- Support in GST compliance, including monthly and annual GST returns (GSTR-1, 9 & 9C).
- Manage and oversee the tax audit process.
- Prepare advance tax and income tax computations.
- Handle tax assessments, notices, and queries from tax authorities.
6. Audit & Regulatory Compliance
- Ensure zero audit observations in internal, statutory, and tax audits.
- Maintain SOX and SOP compliance with proper documentation.
- Ensure timely compliance with IDPMS, EDPMS, ORM, and MTT regulatory requirements.
Key Skills & Competencies
- SAP Expertise – Strong knowledge of SAP for financial transactions and reporting.
- Advanced Excel Skills – Proficiency in financial analysis and reconciliations.
- Communication & Collaboration – Ability to work effectively across cross-functional teams.
- Time Management – Capability to handle multiple priorities efficiently.
