What Are We Looking For?
We are on the lookout for experienced professionals to join our Fermentation department. You should have 3 to 8 years of experience in industrial fermentation, particularly in handling large-scale operations. This is a role for someone with a passion for biotechnology, microbiology, and biochemistry, looking to apply their expertise in a challenging, growth-oriented environment.
Your Key Responsibilities
As a Fermentation Assistant or Executive at Lyfius Pharma, your role will be central to the fermentation process. You will:
- Lead and Manage Projects: Oversee fermentation projects, from conception to full-scale production during shift operations.
- Process Development & Optimization: Focus on developing and fine-tuning fermentation processes to improve product yield, efficiency, and quality.
- Handle Large-Scale Fermentation Equipment: Manage 50KL to 250KL fermenters, including fed-batch systems and continuous partial harvest operations.
- Monitor & Troubleshoot: Keep a close eye on fermenter accessories like pH and DO sensors, temperature and pressure sensors, ensuring everything runs smoothly.
- Document Processes: Maintain online documentation, adjust feeds as needed, and prepare SOPs, EOPs, and BPCRs.
- Work with Microbial Strains: Ensure optimal conditions for various microbial strains to maximize productivity.
- Collaboration: Work alongside downstream processing teams, analytical development, and quality control to ensure smooth transitions and quality products.
- Regulatory Compliance: Follow industry standards and regulatory requirements to ensure the fermentation processes align with all legal guidelines.
- Report & Present: Regularly present data, summaries, and technical reports to showcase your progress.
