Auxilla Pharmaceuticals And Research LLP – The Research Associate will work in the Microbiology Department, performing critical microbiological studies and validation activities to support new product development and quality assurance in the pharmaceutical sector.
Research Associate – Microbiology
- Department: Microbiology
- Experience: 2–5 Years

- Preservation Efficacy Testing (PET / Antimicrobial Effectiveness Testing)
- Microbiological validation of new products

Key Responsibilities
- Conduct Preservation Efficacy Testing (PET) on pharmaceutical formulations
- Perform microbiological validation studies for new drug products
- Execute Microbial Assays for potency determination
- Carry out Sterility testing for injectables, ophthalmics, and other sterile products
- Prepare media, maintain cultures, and perform growth promotion tests
- Document results, prepare reports, and ensure compliance with SOPs and regulatory guidelines
- Investigate out-of-specification (OOS) results and support root cause analysis
- Maintain laboratory hygiene, equipment calibration, and GLP practices
Skills/Qualifications
- Hands-on experience in pharmacopoeial microbiological testing (USP, IP, EP, BP)
- Proficiency in sterility testing, microbial limit tests, and preservative efficacy evaluation
- Strong documentation and data integrity skills
- Familiarity with cleanroom practices and aseptic techniques (desirable)
- Good analytical thinking and attention to detail
- Pharma industry background preferred
