Job Description

BDR Pharmaceuticals International Pvt. Ltd. is actively recruiting for its Engineering (Formulation) Department at the Oral Solid Dosage (OSD) formulation manufacturing facility in Vadodara. These roles are critical for maintaining high standards of equipment reliability, utilities, and compliance in a regulated environment.

The positions focus on ensuring seamless operations in the OSD unit while adhering to cGMP, safety, and international regulatory requirements. Candidates with prior experience in regulated markets and USFDA-approved plants are strongly preferred.

Mechanical Engineer (Formulation)

  • Department: Engineering (Formulation)
  • Market: Regulated markets (preferred)
  • Role: Mechanical maintenance and utilities management in OSD unit
  • Experience: 2-5 years
  • Education/Qualification: M.E / B.E / B.Tech (Mechanical)

Instrumentation Engineer (Formulation)

  • Department: Engineering (Formulation)
  • Market: Regulated markets (preferred)
  • Role: Instrumentation systems installation, calibration, and compliance in OSD facility
  • Experience: 2-5 years
  • Education/Qualification: B.E / B.Tech (Instrumentation)

Skills/Qualifications

  • Strong technical knowledge of mechanical systems or instrumentation in pharmaceutical manufacturing
  • Hands-on experience with utilities like HVAC, clean rooms, BMS, and water systems (for Mechanical role)
  • Expertise in installation, calibration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of instrumentation systems (for Instrumentation role)
  • Thorough understanding of cGMP, safety protocols, and regulatory standards
  • Prior exposure to OSD formulation units and regulated/USFDA-approved plants is highly desirable
  • Problem-solving skills and ability to work in a team-oriented environment
  • Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining compliance

Key Responsibilities

For Mechanical Role:

  • Monitor and maintain plant utilities including HVAC, clean rooms, BMS, and water systems
  • Oversee and service mechanical equipment in the OSD formulation unit
  • Ensure equipment reliability and minimal downtime
  • Support adherence to cGMP and safety standards

For Instrumentation Role:

  • Handle installation, calibration, and maintenance of instrumentation systems
  • Perform troubleshooting of instrumentation issues in OSD facility
  • Ensure full compliance with cGMP and regulatory requirements
  • Maintain documentation and support audits
