Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualifications
- M.Sc. in Chemistry/Organic Chemistry or M.Pharm in Pharmaceutical Chemistry
- Candidates with two years of research experience will be considered for the SRF position.
- Must have qualified a National Level Examination (e.g., CSIR-UGC NET, GATE).
Desirable Skills & Experience
- Strong knowledge of organic reactions, mechanisms, and spectroscopy theories.
- Hands-on experience in:
- Gram-scale organic synthesis
- Protection-deprotection methodologies
- Purification through column chromatography
- Characterization using NMR (1D & 2D) and Mass Spectrometry
- Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply and will be considered for the JRF position.
Job Responsibilities
- Design and synthesize small molecules (carbohydrates, amino acids, non-canonical analogs, and prodrug candidates).
- Perform multi-step and multi-gram scale synthesis with regio-selective protection/deprotection methodologies.
- Purify compounds using column chromatography and characterize using NMR & Mass Spectrometry.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams in chemical biology research.
Emoluments
The selected candidates will receive consolidated pay as per Institute norms:

General Terms & Conditions
- The appointment will be on a contract basis for one year or until project completion, whichever is shorter.
- No hostel/housing facility will be provided.

- No TA/DA will be provided for the interview.
