Job Responsibilities
As an Officer/Sr. Officer in Quality Control, you will:
- Prepare and review SOPs, specifications, STPs, ARDS, protocols, reports, stability summary reports, and miscellaneous documents in line with applicable pharmacopoeia and ICH guidelines.
- Initiate and manage QMS elements, including OOS, OOT, deviations, OOC, change control, and CAPA.
- Review laboratory equipment calibration, preventive maintenance, and working standards.
- Ensure implementation of pharmacopoeial updates and compliance with cGLP and regulatory standards.
- Conduct routine QC department reviews and gap assessments of approved documents, practices, facilities, and GMP requirements.
- Perform analytical method validation and support stability studies for sterile APIs and formulations.
Required Skills and Competencies
- Technical Skills: Expertise in HPLC, GC, UV, IR, and analytical method validation; strong knowledge of QMS, TrackWise, and cGLP compliance.
- Experience: 4-7 years in quality control within a sterile pharmaceutical plant (mandatory).
- Soft Skills: Attention to detail, strong documentation skills, problem-solving, and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Regulatory Knowledge: Familiarity with ICH guidelines, USP, EP, and GMP standards for sterile manufacturing.
