Open Position: Quality Control Officer
We are looking for a B.Pharm graduate with 2 to 5 years of experience in quality control operations. Candidates with a strong understanding of laboratory equipment, wet lab techniques, and regulatory standards will be prioritized for this position.
Key Job Responsibilities
- Calibrate and verify laboratory instruments including HPLC, UV Spectrophotometer, Karl Fischer, Viscometer, and Moisture Analyzer.
- Maintain calibration records and perform daily analytical balance checks with proper documentation.
- Handle qualification of working standards and maintain proper usage records.
- Prepare monthly lists for lab consumables, reagents, and other essential supplies.
- Oversee issuing and tracking of chemical stock items and consumables.
Documentation and Compliance
- Check and review all instrument logbooks for accuracy and completeness.
- Maintain records for volumetric solutions, standardizations, and general reagent preparation.
- Ensure compliance with OMS, CAPA, OOS, and OOT systems in the quality control lab.
- Conduct quality reviews of raw material and finished product analysis reports, along with Certificates of Analysis (CoA).
Skills and Attributes
- Proficiency in handling pharma lab instruments and wet chemical tests.
- Meticulous attention to detail with strong record-keeping and documentation skills.
- Basic knowledge of GMP, GLP, and ISO compliance.
- Collaborative mindset with good communication and teamwork capabilities.
- Familiarity with MS Excel and Word is preferred.
Educational Qualification and Experience
- Required Degree: B.Pharmacy
- Experience Required: 2 to 5 Years in a similar QC role within the pharmaceutical or veterinary industry
- Salary: Negotiable based on qualifications and experience
