We’re hiring for Trainee Medical Coder (Freshers) and Medical Coder/Senior Medical Coder (E/M) roles. Below are the details:

Trainee Medical Coder (Freshers)
- Responsibilities:
- Assign accurate medical codes (ICD-10, CPT, HCPCS) to diagnoses and procedures.
- Review patient records for billing accuracy and compliance.
- Participate in structured training to master coding guidelines.
- Eligibility:
- Graduates (2021-2024) in Life Sciences (B.Sc., M.Sc., B.Pharm., M.Pharm., BDS, BHMS, BAMS, BPT, MPT, Biotechnology, Microbiology, etc.) or Physicians (MBBS).
- No academic backlogs.
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology.
- Preferences: Certified (CPC/CRC) or non-certified with coding training.
Medical Coder/Senior Medical Coder (E/M)
- Responsibilities:
- Perform Evaluation & Management (E/M) coding for outpatient services.
- Ensure compliance with coding regulations and audit readiness.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers for accurate documentation.
- Eligibility:
- 2+ years of experience in E/M coding.
- Life Science graduates or Physicians with coding expertise.
- Proficient in ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS coding systems.
- Preferences: CPC/CRC certification, experience in USFDA-regulated coding.
Candidate Requirements
- Qualifications: B.Sc., M.Sc., B.Pharm., M.Pharm., BDS, BHMS, BAMS, BPT, MPT, MBBS, or equivalent Life Science degrees.
- Experience: Freshers (Trainee) or 2+ years in E/M coding (Medical Coder/Sr. Medical Coder).
- Skills:
- Strong understanding of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology.
- Attention to detail and analytical skills for accurate coding.
- Good communication for cross-functional collaboration.
- Work Location: Mumbai or Hyderabad (work-from-office).
- Note: Candidates who attended previous Chirok Health drives are not eligible.
