Role Overview: Expert Writer in Medical Content Development
As an Expert Writer, you’ll report to the Manager, Medical Content Development, collaborating across EVERSANA’s Compliance Business Unit (Medical Information, Medical Affairs, Pharmacovigilance, Regulatory, and Quality). This remote, full-time role supports clients of all sizes, crafting scientifically rigorous content for medical communications.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop medical and scientific content, including Scientific Response Documents (SRDs), FAQs, slide sets, abstracts, posters, and training materials
- Lead client document development, from material gathering to MLR review facilitation
- Manage content on platforms like Veeva PromoMats/MedComms, ensuring reference anchoring and compliance
- Perform scientific data fact-checking for MLR teams
- Contribute to thought leadership via articles, blogs, and congress presentations
- Update SOPs, checklists, templates, and style guides
- Mentor team members and support onboarding
- Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging technologies

Qualifications: What We’re Looking For
We seek candidates with strong medical writing experience and a passion for precision in clinical content.
Minimum Requirements
- Education: PharmD, M.Pharm, M.S. Pharm, PhD, or MD
- Experience: 4+ years in life sciences/pharma with extensive medical writing and content development
- Skills:
- Exceptional written, oral, and interpersonal communication
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Acrobat, and citation tools (EndNote, Mendeley)
- Familiarity with AMA Style Guide, ICMJE, GPP, PRISMA, STROBE, CONSORT
- Experience with PubMed, Ovid, Embase for literature searches
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements for Medical Information and Medical Affairs
- Strong project management and organizational skills
- Traits: High integrity, collaborative mindset, agile learning across therapeutic areas
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with new product launch content
- Published abstracts, posters, or manuscripts
- Familiarity with Veeva Vault MedComms/PromoMats
