Role and Responsibilities
As a Chemist to Junior Executive in Quality Control (Injectables), you’ll ensure the highest standards in pharmaceutical manufacturing. Key responsibilities include:
- Compliance: Perform all activities per current Good Laboratory Practices (cGLP) and Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP).
- Documentation: Maintain Good Documentation Practices for all QC records.
- Method Validation: Plan and execute validation/verification of analytical methods per protocols.
- Instrument Handling: Operate GC, HPLC, and IC instruments using LabSolutions, Empower, Chromelon, or Magic Net software.
- LIMS Expertise: Utilize Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS) for data management and reporting.
Qualifications and Experience
To excel in these roles, candidates must meet the following criteria:
- Education: B.Sc., M.Sc., B.Pharmacy, or M.Pharmacy from a recognized institution.
- Experience: 3–5 years in Quality Control (Injectables) in the pharmaceutical industry.
- Preferred: Experience in injectable manufacturing and regulatory audits (e.g., USFDA, MHRA).
Skills:
- Proficiency in GC, HPLC, and IC instruments with relevant software (LabSolutions, Empower, Chromelon, Magic Net).
- Experience with LIMS for efficient data management.
- Strong knowledge of cGLP, cGMP, and method validation/verification processes.
- Excellent analytical and documentation skills.
