Qualifications
- Educational Background: Diploma in Electrical Engineering (D.E.E) or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (D.M.E)
- Experience: 2-4 years in pharmaceutical machine maintenance
Key Responsibilities
As a Junior Officer (Engineering), you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing and packaging processes. Your responsibilities will include:
- Daily Maintenance: Perform day-to-day maintenance of manufacturing, filling, and packaging machines in our formulation facility.
- Troubleshooting & Repair: Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions efficiently, ensuring minimal downtime.
- Preventive Maintenance: Conduct preventive and predictive maintenance on assigned equipment, maintaining accurate records in logbooks, planners, and schedules.
- Equipment Expertise: Work with a variety of pharmaceutical machinery, including:
- Ointment tube filling machines
- Liquid filling and labeling machines with OCR systems
- Packaging machines (cartonators, check weighers, blister & strip packing machines)
- Manufacturing vessels (e.g., ointment manufacturing vessels, bottom-entry agitators)
- RMG, FBD, compression machines, and allied equipment (metal detectors, dust extractors, de-dusters, counting machines, washing machines, slat conveyor belts)
- Utilities Knowledge: Additional experience with utilities like boilers and AHU systems is a plus.
Skills & Experience
We’re looking for candidates with hands-on experience in pharmaceutical plant machinery maintenance. Ideal candidates will have:
- Proven expertise in troubleshooting and repairing formulation and packaging equipment.
- Familiarity with ointment tube filling, liquid filling, and other specialized machines.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to maintain detailed records and adhere to maintenance schedules.
