We seek an experienced professional to lead QC and QA functions at our Dahej plant, focusing on agrochemical manufacturing. The role supports Godrej Agrovet’s mission to enhance farmer productivity through high-quality products.

• 5-10 years in QC and QA, preferably in agrochemical industries
• Proven leadership in team management and cross-functional coordination

Key Responsibilities

• Quality Control Testing:
  • Conduct physical and chemical testing of agrochemicals (e.g., pesticides, herbicides) using HPLC, GC, and UV-Vis
  • Perform regular audits and inspections to ensure product compliance with specifications
  • Analyze raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products per ICH Q2(R1)
• Quality Assurance:
  • Ensure products meet cGMP, USFDA, and WHO-GMP standards
  • Review and approve SOPs, batch records, and validation protocols
  • Monitor manufacturing processes to maintain regulatory compliance
• Process Improvement:
  • Identify inefficiencies in QC processes and implement continuous improvements
  • Optimize testing methods to enhance accuracy and turnaround time
  • Introduce QbD principles to streamline QA workflows
• Complaint Investigation:
  • Investigate customer complaints and OOS/OOT results
  • Implement CAPA to prevent recurrence and ensure product reliability
• Training & Development:
  • Train QC and QA teams on analytical techniques, cGMP, and safety protocols
  • Foster a culture of quality and accountability
• Compliance Management:
  • Ensure adherence to ISO 9001:2015 and regulatory guidelines
  • Maintain documentation for audits by USFDA, WHO-GMP, and state authorities
• Lead Audit:
  • Lead internal and external audits, addressing findings promptly
  • Prepare audit reports and coordinate with regulatory bodies

Key Skills

• Expertise in HPLC, GC, UV-Vis, and LIMS for agrochemical testing
• Strong knowledge of cGMP, GLP, ICH Q2(R1), and USFDA standards
• Proven leadership in managing QC/QA teams (5-10 members)
• Experience in method validation, OOS investigations, and CAPA
• Proficiency in process improvement and QbD methodologies
• Excellent communication for cross-functional coordination
• Familiarity with agrochemical production and regulatory audits

Salary

• ₹8-14 Lakhs/year (based on Glassdoor estimates for similar roles at Godrej Agrovet)
