Key Responsibilities

As an Instrumentation Officer / Sr. Officer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring smooth and efficient operation of all instrumentation systems at the site. Your responsibilities will include:

Performing preventive and corrective maintenance of instrumentation systems including field instruments, PLCs, SCADA, and DCS.
Handling calibration of critical and non-critical instruments as per defined schedules and regulatory requirements.
Minimizing downtime by timely troubleshooting and resolution of equipment issues.
Maintaining comprehensive documentation of all instrumentation-related activities in compliance with cGMP guidelines and audit standards.
Participating in installation, commissioning, and validation of new instruments and equipment.
Supporting internal and external audits (FDA, MHRA, GMP inspections) with relevant documentation.
Coordinating with production, QA, validation, and other cross-functional teams for seamless operations.
Ensuring adherence to health, safety, and environmental compliance protocols.

Candidate Profile

Ideal candidates should possess both technical and regulatory knowledge. The requirements include:

Qualification: Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Instrumentation, Electronics, or Electrical Engineering
Experience: 5–10 years in Instrumentation within an API or Bulk Drug manufacturing setup
Expertise in working with process instruments including pressure, temperature, flow, and level systems
Strong familiarity with PLC/DCS-based automation systems
Hands-on knowledge of regulatory standards such as GMP, FDA, and MHRA
Excellent analytical and problem-solving ability for troubleshooting instrumentation issues
Advantageous: Experience in working with utility systems such as boilers, chillers, compressors, water treatment plants (WTP), and effluent treatment plants (ETP)
