Job Description
We are seeking experienced professionals for our R&D team, specializing in upstream process development using mammalian cell culture. The ideal candidate will bring the following qualifications, experience, and skills:
Qualifications
- M.Sc., B.Tech, or M.Tech in Biochemistry, Biotechnology, or related Life Sciences fields (based on similar roles at Hetero Biopharma)
Experience
- 3-12 years in upstream process development, preferably in biopharmaceuticals or biosimilars
Skills and Responsibilities
- Conduct upstream process development using mammalian cell culture techniques.
- Operate and manage shake flasks and bioreactors (1L, 5L, 20L) for process scale-up.
- Utilize Alternating Tangential Flow (ATF) systems to enhance process efficiency.
- Support technology transfer to pilot and GMP manufacturing plants.
- Manage and maintain Master and Working Cell Banks in compliance with regulatory standards.
- Document experiments accurately, adhering to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and safety guidelines.
