Job Details
- Position: Executive – Quality Control (QC) Biologics
- Work Location: ICHOR Biologics Pvt. Ltd., Sy. No. 222P, Thurkapally Village, Shameerpet Mandal, Medchal Malkajgiri Dist., Hyderabad, Telangana – 500078
- Salary: ₹3.5–6.5 Lakhs/year (estimated, Hyderabad, based on AmbitionBox and industry standards)

Role & Responsibilities
- Perform quality control testing for biologics, including plasma-derived products, using:
- HPLC and electrophoretic test methods (e.g., SDS-PAGE).
- Cell-based assays, colorimetric, spectrophotometric, and ELISA-based techniques.
- Instrumentation: Spectrophotometer, microplate reader, microscope, and basic QC instruments.
- Conduct activity/potency-based assays, biochemical assays, and hematology testing.
- Ensure compliance with Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) and Good Documentation Practices (GDP).
- Support Quality Management System (QMS) elements, including OOS (Out of Specification), incident/deviation investigations, and change control.
- Apply basic knowledge of analytical method validation per ICH Q2 and 21 CFR Part 11 software compliance.
- Maintain accurate records and ensure data integrity in all QC activities.
Minimum Requirements
- Qualification: M.Sc. in Biotechnology or Biochemistry
- Experience: 2–6 years in QC Biologics, preferably in biologics or biotechnology companies
Key Skills:
- Hands-on experience with HPLC, SDS-PAGE, and cell-based assays.
- Proficiency in colorimetric, spectrophotometric, and ELISA-based techniques.
- Ability to operate spectrophotometer, microplate reader, microscope, and basic QC instruments.
- Familiarity with 21 CFR-compliant software for data management.
- Strong understanding of GLP and GDP requirements.
- Knowledge of QMS elements (OOS, deviations, change control) and basic analytical method validation.
Preferences:
- Experience in plasma-derived biologics or vaccine QC testing.
- Familiarity with USFDA or EU-GMP audited facilities.
- Exposure to biochemical assays and potency testing for biologics.
