Key Responsibilities
- Identify, select, initiate, and close out investigational sites for clinical studies
- Monitor sites to ensure compliance with study protocols, ICON SOPs, ICH-GCP guidelines, and applicable regulations
- Manage study timelines, ensuring accuracy and completeness of data in ICON systems
- Recruit investigators and support regulatory submissions (e.g., protocol, consent forms)
- Conduct pre-study, initiation, and regular monitoring visits
- Maintain study documentation, motivate investigators to meet recruitment targets, and ensure accurate case record forms
- Oversee investigational product (IP) storage, supply, and disposition per regulatory standards
- Resolve sponsor queries and support study closeout activities
- Mentor junior staff and participate in feasibility studies or training as needed
- Travel at least 60% (international/domestic, fly/drive) with a valid driver’s license
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Experience: Minimum 18 months of monitoring experience in Phase I-III clinical trials
- Qualifications: Degree in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, or related field (post-graduation preferred)
- Other: Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel 60% of the time
Skills:
- Expert knowledge of ICH-GCP guidelines and clinical research regulations
- Strong understanding of medical data evaluation
- Excellent written and verbal communication in English
- Proficiency in ICON systems and electronic data capture tools
- Ability to work independently, manage timelines, and thrive in a fast-paced environment
