Qualification:
- Degree: B. Pharm / B. Tech and MBA (Finance / Marketing / Pharmaceutical Management)
Experience:
- Total Experience: 7-10 years of relevant experience in a similar role.
Key Responsibilities:
Business Development and Portfolio Management:
- Develop and manage a robust product portfolio for Emerging Markets.
- Prepare a product wishlist and conduct therapy and portfolio analysis to identify new product ideas.
- Identify new growth segments and early market entry opportunities.
- Conduct market analysis using secondary databases (e.g., IQVIA, export data) to discover new business opportunities, approvals, and launches.
- Manage the database for the existing portfolio and pipeline.
- Facilitate cross-pollination of product ideas and harmonize products across markets based on opportunity evaluation.
- Prepare and evaluate business cases for new products and scout for new product opportunities.
- Conduct partner and product due diligence before introducing third-party products.
- Prepare and issue Dossier Requisition Forms (DRF) for new products.
- Support new market entry evaluation projects.
Project Management:
- Track and monitor ongoing development/tech transfer projects in coordination with stakeholders.
- Conduct meetings to track project milestones, cost overruns, and project costs.
- Evaluate business cases and project costs, troubleshoot, and escalate key issues when necessary.
Skills Required:
Functional:
- Strong oral and written communication in English.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Understanding of generic drug development, registration processes, and regulatory landscape in major countries.
- Financial modeling and international business understanding.
Behavioral:
- Assertiveness, learning attitude, and result orientation.
- Strong people management and solution orientation skills.
