We’re hiring a Bioinformatics Intern to support our team in Pune. This role offers hands-on experience in NGS and bioinformatics pipelines for candidates with a strong academic background.

Key Responsibilities
As a Bioinformatics Intern, you’ll contribute to cutting-edge genomics projects with the following tasks:
- Assist in developing and maintaining bioinformatics pipelines for NGS data analysis.
- Write and optimize Python and shell scripts for data processing and automation.
- Support CI/CD processes for deploying and testing bioinformatics workflows.
- Use Git for version control and collaborative development.
- Perform routine tasks like automated report generation, data QC, and results formatting.
- Collaborate with senior bioinformaticians and data analysts on ongoing projects.
- Document processes to enhance reproducibility and transparency.
- Learn about clinical genomics, variant interpretation, and data visualization tools.
Required Skills
We’re looking for candidates with the following qualifications and skills:
- Completed M.Sc in Bioinformatics.
- Foundational knowledge of NGS, bioinformatics pipelines, and microarray-based genotyping.
- Proficiency in Python and shell scripting.
- Familiarity with Git for version control.
- Basic web development skills (HTML, CSS, JavaScript is a plus).
- Interest in clinical genomics and data visualization.
